Computational Image Analysis Postdoctoral Position

The Rost Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a qualified candidate (Ph.D., M.D., Ph.D., or M.D.) with a background in Biomedical Engineering, Imaging Sciences, or Computational Neuroscience.

The candidate will have the opportunity to combine big data and machine learning approaches with clinically relevant questions. The environment will allow the candidate to conduct large-scale analysis of medical imaging and genome-wide data, as well as modelling outcomes in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Our group brings together a broad range of expertise, large-scale international and local collaborations including with MIT/CSAIL (Polina Golland’s group) and Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, and access to a world-class clinical infrastructure.

Stroke Genetics Postdoctoral Position

The Rost Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a qualified candidate (Ph.D., M.D., Ph.D., or M.D.) with a background in Genetic Epidemiology, Outcomes Research, or Vascular Neurology.

The candidate will have the opportunity to combine large-scale neuroimaging approaches and genetic epidemiology to elucidate the genetic architecture of acute and chronic cerebrovascular phenotypes. The environment will allow the candidate to conduct GWAS, mendelian randomization and to develop polygenic risk scores to model the severity and outcome of ischemic stroke. Our group offers the opportunity to collaborate with multiple leaders in the fields of vascular neurology, genomics, computer science and epidemiology, as well as access to a world-class clinical infrastructure.
